On May 26, 2011, Midshipman Pierce Craig Guthrie of Lubbock, Texas was presented DCH:s award after achieving the US Naval Academy?s Highest Order of Merit of those Majoring in history. Historian General Mary Russell presented our award. She was accompanied by Maryland State President Joanne Brown (left) and First Vice President Suzy Earing (right).
